I'm a funny person

I love to travel
I have been to a few coutries so far and I could say that this is the thing I prefer about life. I love to travel, meet people and learn about other cultures, religions and traditions. I have been to Australia for two years, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hawaii, Guatemala, France, England and the USA. If I could I would be traveling all the time.
I think I am a funny person. I love to make jokes and make people laugh. Be prepared for a good laugh if you wish to learn English or French with me. I may be a humourous person but that doesn't mean I am not serious. I am extremely serious when it comes to work althought I pretend I am not. Even if I look spontaneous for lessons I am extremely well prepared.
Althought I am not very good at making music myself, I play the guitar. What I really love though is to listen to music. I love many types of music but I am particularly fund of rock and heavy metal. My favourite bands are definitely AC/DC and Ozzy Osbourne.
Many people are looking for somebody who is a native speaker. If this is what you are looking for well look again. I am a Canadian from Quebec and I speak French as a first language. You will not notice this because I do not have a French accent when I speak English. I feel that non-native speaker have an advantage over native speaker to teach the language because we have learned the language as a second language.

I love music

I am NOT a native speaker of English but I have been speaking English for more than 20 years now.
A little about me
Here's the part where I talk about myself. I'm doing this because maybe it is important for you to know who you will be working with beforehand or maybe to help you choose somebody to help you learn English. So here are a few things I think are interesting about myself.

I am Canadian but I am also Québécois
I come from a small village in Quebec (province of Canada) where the official language is French within an English speaking country. I learned French as a first language but I am fluent in both languages having learned English from a young age. I would say that my culture is a mix of Canada and Quebec. I love hockey but I also love ''Poutine''

I have a university degree in teaching English as a second language
Yes I went to univeristy. I hated the whole thing because it was so long (4 years) and so expensive but I can say I am an educator. I don't think it is very important what your studies are but this is a big chunk of my life so I thought I'd put it here.
